Services for Zula Lee Fletcher, 90, will be held at Wednesday, November 5, 2008, at 1:00 P.M in Shamrock Baptist Church, Bethune. Rev. Roy Broughman will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Fletcher died Sunday, November 2, 2008, in Kershaw County Medical Center, Camden. Born in the Gatesford Community of Kershaw County, November 30, 1917, she was the daughter of the late S.B., Sr. and Ida West Horton. She was the oldest member of Shamrock Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher and WMU director. She was retired from Skyline Ltd. Mrs. Fletcher was married to the late James A. Fletcher.

Surviving are two daughters; Mamie (Hilliary) Jeffcoat, Tuscaloosa, AL, Sandy McLemore of Kershaw, three sons and daughter in laws; Hugh ( Brenda) Fletcher, Mitchell(Martha) Fletcher, Ronald (Debbie) Fletcher all of Kershaw, two brothers; Pascal Horton of Bethune, Doug (Ester) Horton, sister in law; Doris Horton of Bethune, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters; Edith Coates and Dorothy West and four brothers; Evans Horton, June Horton, Gary Horton and Dale Horton.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, November 4, 2008 from 5 to 7 P.M. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home, 4340 Mt. Pisgah Road, Kershaw.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shamrock Baptist Church, 3573 Porter Road, Bethune, S.C., 29009.
