Zedieth D. Hinson

A funeral service for Zedieth D. “Zedie” Hinson, 71 of Bethune, SC will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 16, 2014, from the sanctuary of Bethune Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Scotch Cemetery. Rev. Jackie Knight will officiate. Mrs. Hinson, widow of Tony Arland Hinson died Thursday, November 13, at KershawHealth, Camden, SC. Born in Bethune, she was a daughter of the late Vernon and Cora Lee Berry Davis. Mrs. Hinson was the owner of Zedie’s Beauty Shop and a member of Bethune Baptist Church. She also enjoyed playing bridge, eating out and she especially loved her grandchildren. Surviving are her daughter, Tonya L. Crowe of Lexington, SC; her son, Mark Anthony Hinson and his wife Nora of Bethune, SC; five grandchildren, Ashton O. Crowe, Carson G. Crowe, Erica L. Hinson, Mark Anthony Hinson, Jr., Tony Arland Hinson and a great grandson, Bryce Anthony Rollings. Also surviving are two sisters, Patricia Dabbs and her husband Jay of Camden,SC, Judy King and her husband “Butch” of Columbia, SC and a brother, Vernon “Buck” Davis and his wife Susie of Cassatt, SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the church Fellowship Hall. Memorials may be made to Bethune Baptist Church, 304 S.
