William Thomas Hilton

Funeral services for Master Sergeant United States Air Force (Retired) William Thomas Tom Hilton, 44, formerly of Kershaw, S.C., will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 13, at Center Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors. The Rev. Gary Harris and Pastor Donald Price will officiate.

Master Sergeant Hilton died Wednesday, January 6, in Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, Ga. Born in Camden, he was the son of Richard Thomas Tommy Hilton and Minnie Sue Catoe Nettles. He was retired from the US Air Force earning the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a true outdoorsman enjoying fishing, hunting, scuba diving and repelling. He also enjoyed mechanic work. He was a member of Callaway Assembly of God.

Surviving in addition to his father of Kershaw and his mother of Orangeburg, are his wife; Susan Rae Abreo Hilton of Panama City, Florida , four daughters; Kelly Elizabeth Hilton of California, Alicia Marie Hilton, Christina Nicole Hilton, and Emily Rae Hilton all of Panama City, Florida, four brothers; Louis Edward Hall of Lancaster, Randy Ellison Hall of Kershaw, Tracy Allen Hall of Kershaw and Johnathan Daniel Hilton of Sumter, his maternal grandmother; Ida Blanche Catoe Wright of Kershaw and a number of aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, January 12, from 5 to 8 P.M. at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw.
