William Joseph Harmon

William Joseph Harmon, 79, of Lancaster, S.C. passed away, Thursday, December 23, 2021, at his son’s home in Heath Springs, S.C. Born in Lancaster, S.C., he was a son of the late Homer Harmon, Sr. and Katherine Parkman Harmon. Mr. Harmon was a Lieutenant Colonel in the South Carolina State Guard for over 20 years.

Mr. Harmon is survived by 5 children, Benji Harmon, Billy Harmon, Jo Lynn Vereen, Katie Harmon and Rev. Hunter Harmon; 6 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter and his brother, Homer Harmon, Jr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edgar Harmon and his sister, Phyllis Snipes.

Private services will be held.

Memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Harmon may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
