William Danny Clack

William Danny Clack, age 69, of Westville, S.C., passed away, Saturday, August 10, 2024, at his home. Born in Winnsboro, S.C., he was a son of Lola Stockman Berends and the late Grady Clack. Mr. Clack was a field engineer with LCI Construction. He was a member of DeKalb Baptist Church, Camden, S.C. Mr. Clack enjoyed the craft of woodworking and cutting grass on his zero-turn lawn mower.

He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Bertha Bass Clack; 4 children, Angela (Jackie) Jones, Tina Dixon. William Anthony (Aireal) Clack and Chris Anderson; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Susie (Michael) Shealy, Kathy (Herbert) Bickly, Debbie (Layman) Nobles, Lila (Mike) Stobbe and 2 brothers, Johnny (Paula) Berends and Bobby (Teako) Berends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert Berends.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, August 13, 2024, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. in DeKalb Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, Camden, S.C.

A service to celebrate his life will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation in DeKalb Baptist Church sanctuary. Rev. Adam Wright will officiate. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family wishes to thank nurse Andrew Hall, and the wonderful care provided by Three Oaks Hospice shown to Mr. Clack and his family.
