Wayne Lawrence Outen

Graveside services for Wayne Lawrence Outen, 57, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 15, at House of Prayer Cemetery. Rev. Charles Watkins will officiate.

Mr. Outen died Thursday, February 11, in Springs Memorial Hospital. Born in Kershaw, he was the son of the late Odell Lawrence and Agnes Marie Sullivan Outen. He was a roofer and attended House of Prayer Church.

Surviving are two sons and a daughter; Boozer Outen Wilson of Camden, Melissa Davis of Florida, Joshua Outen Kennington of Kershaw, a grandson; Lathan Outen Kennington, two sisters; Peggy Bowers (Randolph) of Heath Springs, Brenda Blackmon (Wayne Mosley) of Heath Springs, three brothers; J.L. Outen (Dot) , W.L. Outen (Jewel) and Richard Outen all of Kershaw, nieces and nephews; Angie Rutledge (Phil), Heather Rutledge, Kristen Rutledge, Michelle Reeves (Jason), Brittany Reeves, Luke Sims, Bryan Blackmon, Stephanie Blackmon and Lee Blackmon. He was preceded in death by a sister; Sylvia Small and two brothers; Everette Outen and Oscar Pete Outen.

The family will receive friends prior to the graveside service from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw.
