Vivian Rushing Williams, 76, of Charleston, S.C. and formerly of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Summerville Community Hospice House, Summerville, S.C. Born in Charleston, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Ernest Leroy Rushing and Ruth Rollins Rushing. Mrs. Williams retired from the DuPont Company. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Westville, S.C. Mrs. Williams enjoyed going to Springmaid Beach, playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Angie Vincent and her husband, Derrick of Kershaw, S.C. and Sherrie W. Estridge of Charleston, S.C.; 4 grandchildren, Chris (Jess) Estridge of Indian Land, S.C., Brittany (Dustin) Roberts of Charleston, S.C., Kirsten Bowers of Kershaw, S.C. and Corbin Bailey of Kershaw, S.C.; 4 great grandchildren, Caden, Landry, Reese Lane and Avery Claire and her brother, Jimmy Rushing of Lancaster, S.C. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce C. Williams and 2 brothers, Joe D. Rushing and Howard “Pete” Rushing both of Jefferson, S.C.
Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Williams may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
A private family service will be held in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, Westville, S.C.
