Virginia Rebecca Stein

Virginia Rebecca “Becky” Stein, 75 of Heath Springs, S.C., passed away, Monday evening, April 3, 2023, at her home. Born in Lancaster, S.C., she was a daughter of Ethel Virginia Hancock Barrett and the late J.T. Thomas. Mrs. Stein was a homemaker and of Baptist faith. She enjoyed reading her bible, walking, working in her yard and shopping.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by, her husband, Harold Mitchell “Mike” Stein of 47 years; 2 daughters, Angela Morgan, and Crystal Allison; 7 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; 3 brothers, James Thomas, Benjamin Thomas and Roger Thomas; 3 sisters, Nadine Revel, Maude Gainey and Sarah Walton. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Jackson, 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and a sister, Faye Dean.

The family will greet friends, Thursday, April 6, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Baker Conference Center, 105 N. Minor Street, Kershaw, S.C. Mrs. Stein’s funeral service will follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Conference Center. Rev. Brian Barton will officiate. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery Heath Springs, S.C.
