Mr. Pierro passed away Friday, June 13, 2008, in Springs Memorial Hospital. Born in New Jersey, he was the son of the late Vincent and Mary Marzioni Pierro.
Vince will always be remembered and respected as a man who loved and valued his family, his friends and his country, but most of all his relationship with the Lord. He was truly a devout man. Vince served his country well all his life. He had a combined career of full time Navy, active reserve Navy and civil service for a total of nearly 30 dedicated years.
Vince made so many friends throughout his life, many from his love for motorcycles. He was an avid Nascar fan, a love he shared with his son Phil and his wife Maggi. Many cherished hours were spent at tracks, and with televised races. When a green flag drops, Vince's spirit will be there.
Relocating to Heath Springs in 2002, we were blessed with special neighbors who quickly became our extended family. Thanks to Donnie Sims, Dean Gardner and Jeff Bowers families for making our lives so much richer.
