Vicky Hinson Williams, 59, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. and formerly of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Monday, January 4, 2021, in Roper Hospital, Charleston, S.C. Born in Kershaw, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Julious Ward Hinson and Silivia Phillips Hinson. She was employed with Walmart and a member of Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church, Kershaw, S.C. She enjoyed walking on the battery in Charleston, walking through Charleston gardens, watching The Andy Griffith Show and Gomer Pyle with her husband. Vicky loved flowers, working in her yard, gardening, her dogs, the San Francisco 49ers, the Citadel Bulldogs and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband of 40 ½ years, Ronald “Ronnie” Williams; her daughter, Rebecca Williams; her mother-in-law, Joline Wooten and her husband, Alden and numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins. Mrs. Williams is also survived by many of her loving friends.
The family will receive friends, Friday evening, January 8, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw, S.C.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 9, 2021, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Mr. Joey Phillips will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Williams may be made to the Thiel -Meyer Pet Adoption Center, 128 Black River Road, Camden, S.C. 29020.
