Trula Jean Catoe

A funeral service for Trula Jean Blondie Catoe, 70, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 20, 2011 in Refuge Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Revs. Donnie Barrett and Homer Hinson will officiate.

Mrs. Catoe died Friday, March 18, at her home. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Carl Woodrow Shug Baker, Sr. and Allie Boone Baker. Mrs. Catoe was a homemaker, loved working in her flower gardens, cooking. collecting angels and dolls. Her most favorite time was the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Blondie was first married to Johnny Branham and later to the late Tommy Catoe.

Surviving are 4 children; Dale Branham and his wife Terri of Kershaw, Sheila Brown and her husband Eddie of Cheraw, Cindy Peake of Kershaw and Monty Branham of Kershaw, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 3 brothers; Carl Baker, Jr. of Kershaw, Clyde Barrett of Cassatt, Buddy Barrett of Kershaw and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Barbara Chavis and Mary Brown.

The family will receive friends at the home, 3044 Old Georgetown Road, West and follow ing the service in the church fellowship hall.

Memorial contributions may be made to Refuge Baptist Church-Building Fund, 2814 Lockhart Road, Kershaw, S.C. 29067.
