Trent Hans Teal

Trent Hans Teal, 56, of Camden, S.C., passed away, Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at Prisma Health Richland, Columbia, S.C. Born in Amarillo, TX, he was a son of Gretchen West Teal and the late Claude Hollis Teal. Trent was a graduate of North Central High School and a Master Millwright. He loved collecting antique bottles, hunting arrowheads, hunting and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Sherry McElveen Teal; 2 daughters, Amber Teal, Chessie Teal; a son, John Teal; 2 grandchildren, Rileigh Melton and Tinleigh Teal; 2 brothers, Thad Teal, Timothy Teal and a sister, Tamera Dengler. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Jonathon Teal and 2 brothers, Troy Teal and Tracy Teal.

Friends may pay their respects and sign the register book, Saturday, January 9, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 10, 2021, in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, Westville, S.C. Rev. Todd Gandy will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions in memory of Trent may be directed to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia, S.C., 2901 Colonial Drive, Columbia, S.C. 29203.
