Tonya Ann Montgomery

Tonya Ann Catledge Montgomery, age 51, of Lancaster, S.C. passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center, Lancaster, S.C. Born in Lancaster, S.C. she was a daughter of Howard Wade Catledge, Jr. and the late Lillie Ruth Mackey Catledge. She was a graduate of Lancaster High School and a homemaker. Tonya loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed diamond painting.

She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, John Elliott Montgomery; 2 children, Sean Montgomery and Kayla (Billy) Smith; 2 grandchildren, Jaylin Montgomery and Mason Smith and 2 brothers, Chris (Carolyn) Catledge and Jeremy (Tina) Catledge. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Amy Blackmon.

No formal services will be held at this time. Th family will hold a private service later.
