Graveside services for Thomas Jefferson Tommy Parker, Jr., 62, will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 26, 2010, in Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Parker died Thursday, September 23, in KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Kershaw, he was the son of the late Thomas Jefferson, Sr. and Nannie McNaughton Parker. He worked for Springs Industries for 30 years and was a past employee of Wal-Mart. Mr. Parker was a US Navy veteran.

Surviving are 3 daughters; Tonya Parker (Don) of Lancaster, Crystal Boone (Jimmy) of Kershaw, Marie Parker of Lancaster, 6 grandchildren; Zachary Thomas Parker, Luke Parker, Shane Parker, Caycee Parker, Laura Parker, Chelsea Byrd and a great grandson; Parker Alexander Bass, 3 sisters; Ruby P. Cunningham, Linda Bowers (Travis), both of Kershaw, Sylvia Rambo (Ron) of Evans, Ga. and a brother; Kenny Parker (Donna) of Cassatt. He was preceded in death by a grandson; Jeffrey Dylan Boone.

The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, 277 Catoe Road, Kershaw.
