Thomas Mervelle Watson

Graveside services for Thomas Mervelle Tommy Watson, 78, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 25, 2008, in Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Bryant D. Fersner will officiate.

Mr. Watson died Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at Springs Memorial Hospital, Lancaster.
Born in Deland, Florida, he was the son of the late John and Dora Peterson Watson. He was retired from retail sales and a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife; Jackie Hegler Watson of the home, 2 daughters; Shirley Davis and her husband Jay of Columbia, Chris Hudson and her husband Steve of Kershaw, 5 grandchildren; Micah Rollins (Brandon) , Cary Medlin (Charlie) , Darrell Montgomery (Anna ) all of Kershaw, Erica Carter of Lancaster, Meghan Davis of Columbia and 7 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday July 25, 2008, from 12:30 to 1:45 at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home 6774 Woodhaven Rd., Kershaw.
