Thomas J. Lejeune, Sr.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Thomas J. LeLeune, Sr., 67, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 17, 2009, in Bethel United Methodist Church. The Rev. Barbara Segars will officiate.

Mr. LeJeune died Monday, April 13, 2009, in Kershaw County Medical Center, Camden. Born in Torrington, CT , he was the son of the late Alfred and Vivian Glass LeJeune. He was a director of C.S.E. A. Local Union # 426 and a US Army Veteran. Mr. LeJeune enjoyed the time he spent working at the Bethune True-Value Hardware Store. He was married to the late Bonnie Lee Egbert LeJeune.

Surviving are a daughter; Kimmie LeJeune of Kershaw, two sons; Thomas LeJeune, Jr. of Amenia, NY and Ronald LeJeune of Millerton, NY, three step-daughters; Kathy Petty of Bethune, Pamela Jaycox of Catskill, NY, Terri Brean of Torrington, CT and a step-son; Edward Egbert of Bethune, a sister; Joyce Barnes of Winsted, CT, two brothers; Daryl LeJeune of Southerton, CT, Jon LeJeune of Millerton, NY , thirteen grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Also surviving is his special friend; Ursula Archer of Bethune. He was preceded in death by a brother; Todd LeJeune.
