Thomas H. Robinson

Funeral services for Thomas Hazel Robinson, 84 of Heath Springs, will be held at 4:00 o’clock p.m., Sunday, June 23, in the sanctuary of Flint Ridge Baptist Church. Rev. Catlin Rollings will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Robinson, widower of Bonnie Catoe Robinson passed away, Friday, June 21, at his home. Born in Heath Springs, he was a son of the late John Dickson Robinson and Gladys Reeves Robinson. He was a former supervisor for Springs Industries and a faithful member of Flint Ridge Baptist Church. Mr. Robinson was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also played baseball for the Chicago Cubs for 1 year.

Surviving are his daughter, Marlene R. Catoe and her husband Todd of Heath Springs; 3 grandchildren, Miranda Edwards and her husband Samuel, Marlee Williams and Benjamin Catoe; 4 great grandchildren, Chandler, Kennedy, Chloe and Easton; a brother, Grady Robinson and his wife Shirley of Heath Springs and a sister, Annie Stover of Jonesville.

The family will receive friends following the burial in the church Family Life Center.
