Thomas Dewey Craig

Thomas Dewey Craig, age 69 of Heath Springs, S.C. passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital, Columbia, S.C. from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Lancaster, S.C., he was a son of the late Charlie E. Craig and Aline Lois Kelly Craig. Mr. Craig retired from Springs Industries after 38 years of employment. He later after retirement became a Certified Nursing Assistant working at Springdale Healthcare Center. He was a member of Beacon Baptist Church, Lancaster, S.C.

He is survived by 3 children, Crystal Gail Blackmon and her husband, Stacey of Kershaw, S.C., Pamela Jean Johnson and her husband, Jerry of Lancaster, S.C. and Thomas Jason Craig and his wife, Amanda of Kershaw, S.C.; 6 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and 2 sisters, Barbara Wright of Lancaster, S.C. and Frances Cauthen of Heath Springs, S.C.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Alice Craig; 2 sisters, Mary Robinson and Betty Blackmon and 3 brothers, Donald Craig, James Holshouser and Junior Holshouser.

A memorial service will be held, Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 4:00 P.M. in Beacon Baptist Church, 1982 Evans Drive, Lancaster, S.C. Rev. Jimmy Jones will officiate.
