Thomas Corinda Ogburn

A funeral service for Thomas Corinda “T.C.” Ogburn, 83 of Bethune, SC, will be held at 11:00 o’clock a.m., Saturday, November 21, 2015, in the sanctuary of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Jefferson, SC. Rev. Terry Corder will officiate.

Mr. Ogburn died Tuesday, November 17, at his home. Born in Kershaw, he was a son of the late Loranzy and Ola Holley Ogburn. Mr. Ogburn retired from E.I Dupont Co. and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. He was a deacon, assistant treasurer and served on various committees at the church. Mr. Ogburn enjoyed farming and was a charter member of Buffalo-Mt. Pisgah Rescue Squad.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Colleen Belk Ogburn; 4 children, Joseph C. (Gwen) Ogburn, Betty O. (Harold) Gardner, Charles L. (Charlotte) Ogburn and James F. Ogburn; 10 grandchildren, Corey (Meg) Gardner, Danielle Gardner, Caroline Gardner, Kalena (Jason) Reeves, Shea (C.J.) Roberts, Bree (Andy) Melton, Allyson (Bobby Keiningham) Crenshaw, Vanessa (Justin Rodgers) Ogburn, Tricia Ogburn and Jerry Waldrop; 10 great grandchildren, Kassidy Anderson, Brady Anderson, Braxton Reeves, Michael Faulkenberry, Mylan Roberts, Coy Roberts, Carlie Melton, Paisley Melton, Braydon Keiningham and Kensley Keiningham. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Terry Waldrop; a brother, Milburn Judson Ogburn and 2 sisters, Vivian Ogburn Horton and his twin sister, Belinda Ogburn Blackmon.

The family will receive friends, Friday evening, November 20, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home.
