Theo Mobley

Funeral services for Theo Mobley, 105, will be held Sunday, February 20, at 2:30 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Salem Cemetery. Rev. Bryant Fersner will officiate. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 67, Kershaw, S.C. 29067 or to Bethea Home, P.O. Box 4000, Darlington, SC 29532.

Ms. Mobley died Thursday, February 17, at Bethea Baptist Home of Darlington. Born in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Sidney Capers and Cannie Williams Mobley. Ms. Mobley was a retired nurse, having received her nurses training at Henderson Hospital in North Carolina. After working thirty odd years in North Carolina and Virginia, she retired and came back to Heath Springs, S.C. She was a member of Heath Springs Baptist Church for over seventeen years, and was active in Sunday school, training union and WMU. She worked on the library staff and was a member of the Clemson Extension Homemakers Club. She moved to Bethea Home in December 1982.

The family will receive friends, Sunday prior to the service from 1:30 to 2:30 at the funeral home.

Surviving are sisters; Eva M. Brown of Columbia, and Viola Billie Brannon of Columbia; numerous nieces and nephews.
