Terry Lee Waldrop

Funeral services for Terry Lee Waldrop, 42 of Bethune will be held at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 5, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Jefferson, where he was a member. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Waldrop died Saturday, December 1, at Medical University Hospital, Charleston. Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of Gwendolyn Gilbert Ogburn of Jefferson and Inman and Donald Ray Waldrop of Inman. Mr. Waldrop retired as a painter and enjoyed working on small engines. He was also an avid gardener and enjoyed landscaping. Surviving in addition to his mother and father are his step-father; Joseph Corrinda Ogburn of Jefferson, 2 daughters; Vanessa Faye Ogburn and Patricia Lee Ogburn both of the Mt. Pisgah Community, twin brother; Jerry Lee Waldrop of Inman, maternal grandmother; Ruth Juanita Waldrop of Inman, paternal step grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. Corrinda Ogburn of Bethune, his special friend; Melvina Julian of Hartsville and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends, Monday, December 3, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1150 Campton Rd., Inman and following the service on Wednesday, December 5, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Memorial contributions may be made to Baker Funeral Home, 210 E. Hilton Street, Kershaw, SC 29067 to help with funeral expenses.
