Tanya Marie Knight

A funeral service for Tanya Marie Knight, 37 of Jefferson, SC, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 7, 2016, in New Testament Baptist Church, Kershaw. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. James Aldridge will officiate.

Tanya died Friday, March 4, in KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Chesterfield County, she was a daughter of Peggy Barrett Craig and the late David Eugene Craig. She enjoyed meeting people, especially at P & D Greenhouse where she served as the secretary. She also enjoyed bowling, playing games on her phone, tending to her birds and writing scripture out of the bible. Tanya was a faithful member of New Testament Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her mother of the home are her 6 siblings, Roy (Tina) Craig of Kershaw, Jeanette Privette of Jefferson, Mike Craig of Jefferson, Billy (Ashley) Knight of Jefferson, Nancy (Jesse) Bowers of Lancaster, Crystal Rose (Chad) Sullivan of Jefferson and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her special friend, Judy Geiger.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, March 6, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home, 5431 Eubanks Rd., Jefferson.
