Steven "Steve" Hudson

Steven W. “Steve” Hudson, age 67, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Monday, September 11, 2022, in Prisma Health Richland, Columbia, S.C. Born in Lancaster, S.C., he was a son of the late Leroy Hudson and Minnie Lee Cauthen Snipes. He was a truck driver and a hard worker. Steve enjoyed growing things in his gardens. He also loved to watch cowboy movies and was a prankster.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Chris Watson Hudson; 4 children, Candi Hudson, Cary (Charlie) Medlin, Darrell Montgomery and Erica (Scott) Faulkenberry; 4 grandchildren, Carlie, Kinzie, Bronson and Keely and his canine companions, Coco, Abby and Maggie Mae.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Pat, Jim, Rick and Kim.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home. A private interment will be in Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Donnie Birchfield will officiate.
