Steven Ole Lee

Steven Ole “Steve” Lee, age 76, of Lancaster, S.C., passed away Friday, June 30, 2023, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was formerly of La Vale, MD. Steve was born on January 4, 1947, in San Francisco, CA, to the late George Hudson Lee and Frances Colvin Lee.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his sister, Pam.

Steve is survived by his wife of 13 years, Florence “Susie” Lee. In addition to his wife, He is survived by one daughter, Samantha Lee Kreuzburg and her husband, Richard: three stepchildren, Paul “Alan” Sites and his wife, Missy, Colleen Taylor and her husband, Jeremiah and Sarah Krajewski and her husband, Timothy. He is also survived by five granddaughters, twelve step grandchildren and nine step great grandchildren.

Steve served his country in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968, where he fought in the Vietnam War. He later became an automotive technician in California until his retirement, at which time, he relocated to La Vale, MD. He was an avid gear head with a love for motorcycles and speedboats.

Upon retirement, Steve enjoyed planning and hosting social gatherings and parties. Steve will always be remembered for his get it done attitude and helpful spirit.

A gathering to celebrate his life will be held  4:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at his home, 16115 Commodore Drive, Lancaster, SC
