Steven Lee Mcpherson

A service to remember the life of Steven Lee McPherson, 54, of Kershaw will be private, Thursday, May 5, 2011, at the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Rev. Donald Coppedge will officiate.

Mr. McPherson died Monday, May 2, in Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, N.C after a long illness. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Peggy Joyce Reeves Hunter and the late David Paul McPherson. Mr. McPherson was employed with Davis Neon Sign Co. and a member of Buffalo Baptist Church where he was a deacon and served in various capacities. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed fishing, hunting, racing and a North Carolina Tarheel fan. He was a Christian, loved the Lord and his family very much.

Surviving in addition to his mother of the home, are 3 brothers; Roderick Alan McPherson, Michael David McPherson both of Kershaw and Russell Rusty Brian McPherson of Chesterfield.
