Steve E. Roberts

A funeral service for Steve Edward Roberts, 65, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 14, at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery, Heath Springs. The Revs. Donnie Tillman and Gary Roberts will officiate.

Mr. Roberts died Monday, April 11, in CMC-Mercy Hospital, Charlotte, N.C. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late C.N. and Nannie Dorman Roberts. He was a member of Second Baptist Church of Heath Springs. Mr. Roberts loved collecting flags, the outdoors and was an avid Gamecock fan.

Surviving are 2 sisters; Betty R. Hunter of Kershaw, Beverly R. Wilson of Lancaster, 3 brothers; Charles J. Roberts of Kershaw, Rev. Gary M. Roberts of Heath Springs and Rev. Bob Roberts of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by a brother; Stoney N. Roberts.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, April 13, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home of his sister; 1704 Hollybrook Lane, Lancaster.
