Stephen Lucas Amerson

Stephen Lucas Amerson, 24, of Cassatt, S.C., passed away, Thursday, August 10, 2023, at MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center, Lancaster, S.C. Born in Lancaster, S.C. he was a son of Renee Elaine Clyburn Amerson and the late Charles Olin Amerson, Sr. He had worked in the construction industry. He loved being a prankster and clowning around.

He is survived by his mother of Cassatt, S.C.; his siblings, Justin (Jodi) Prosser, Charles Olin Amerson, Jr., Shawn (Brenna) Amerson, Shannon (Amanda) Amerson, Holly (Dewan) Fraley, Kayla Amerson (Andrew) Sullivan and Katherine Amerson and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Waverly Amerson.

The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, August 13, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw, S.C., and other times at the home of his sister, Kayla, 4226 Bethune Road, Bethune, S.C.

A memorial service to remember his life will be held Monday afternoon, August 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Frontline Biker Church, Kershaw, S.C. Preacher Cotton Pate will officiate.
