A graveside service for Shane Allen Gardner, 43 of Kershaw, S.C. will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 29, 2014, in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Heath Springs, S.C. Rev. Bobby Joyner will officiate. Mr. Gardner died Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Born in Norton, Kansas, he was a son of Michael Burrell and Janice Williams Gardner. He was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church and a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School. Mr. Gardner also enjoyed fishing, all types of sports, NASCAR and was a avid University of Tennessee fan. Surviving in addition to his parents of Kershaw are the mother of his childrem, Angie Brown; a son, Grant M. Gardner; a daughter, Amber D. Gardner both of Kershaw; a brother, Benny Gardner and his wife Ashley of Bentonville, Arkansas; paternal grandmother, Irene Cook of Surfside Beach, S.C.; 2 nieces, Aubrey and Brandy Atchison, a nephew, Issac Gardner; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his special friend, Chrissy Walters. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jack Gardner and maternal grandparents, John H., Sr. and Edna Williams. The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the cemetery or any time at the home of his parents, 1165 Winterwood Road, Kershaw.
