Ruby Mosier Bass

A graveside service for Ruby Leona Mosier Bass 86, of Lancaster and formerly of Kershaw will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 11, in the Kershaw City Cemetery.

Mrs. Bass, widow of Thomas P. Bass, Sr., died Friday, April 8, at her son’s home in Camden. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Ottie Brown Mosier. She was a member of the former First United Methodist Church, Kershaw and retired from Springs Industries. Mrs. Bass also enjoyed bowling.

Surviving are her son, Thomas P. Bass, Jr. and his wife Wanda of Camden; her daughter, Debbie B. Cross of Lancaster; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at Baker Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Bass may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
