Ruby Doris Williams

Graveside services for Ruby Doris Williams, 66, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 27, 2010, in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, Westville. Rev. Keith Coates will officiate.

Ms. Williams died at her home. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Marie Gay Williams and the late Everette Harry Williams. She held a Master's Degree in Social Work, retiring from the S.C. Department of Corrections as a social worker. She had also been a Sheriffs deputy for Kershaw County and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Westville.

Surviving in addition the her mother of Kershaw are a brother; Charles R. Williams (Joann) of Kershaw , 2 sisters; Conelia W. Zeedick (John Francis) of Kershaw and Edna Mary Williams (Aubrey) of Fayetteville, N.C., 2 nieces, 3 nephews, 3 great nieces and 3 great nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister; Sarah Louise Williams and a brother; Paul Williams.

The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
