Ronnie W. Roberts

Ronnie Wayne Roberts, age 71 of Kershaw, S.C. passed away at his home, Friday November 29, 2024. Born in Lancaster, S.C., he was a son of the late Johnnie Coleman Roberts and Ethel Gibson Roberts. Ronnie, as he was known, retired from the South Carolina Highway Department as a supervisor after 28 years. He enjoyed collecting. He was married to the late Faye Hornsby Roberts.

He is survived by siblings, Johnny David (Rose Mary) Roberts of Rock Hill, S.C., Brenda (Phillip) Baker of Heath Springs, S.C., Nancy Hilton of Kershaw, S.C., Monnie Roberts of Kershaw, S.C., brother-in-law, Larry Taylor and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Roberts; 2 sisters, Dorothy Lee “Dot” Carnes and Bonnie Sue “Susie” Taylor; a brother, Thomas Edward Roberts; a sister-in-law, Annie Roberts and 2 brothers in law, Paul Carnes and Harry Hilton.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Baker Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation beginning at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
