Ronnie Lee Cranford

Funeral services for Ronnie Lee Cranford, 61, of Kershaw will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Baker Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Curtis Cameron will officiate. Mr. Cranford, widower of Carolyn Diane Cranford, died Monday, June 17, 2013, in an automobile accident. Born in Camden, S.C., he was the son of the late William and Sally Lee Clyburn Cranford. He was a long distance truck driver for J & J Farms. He enjoyed spending time with his grandbabies and taking care of his children. Mr. Cranford was a country music fan and enjoyed listening to music by Hank Williams, Sr. and George Jones. He also loved watching western movies. Surviving are 3 daughters; Rosa Lee Vincent (David) of Kershaw, Mary Cranford of Michigan, and Priscilla Cranford of Middleton, Ohio, step-daughter; Fran C. Luciani of Asheville, N.C., step- son; Matthew Gaskins of Enterprise, Alabama, 6 grandchildren, nephews; Shon Cranford (Trudy) and their son, Shane, William (Leann) Cranford and their children, Christian and Courtney and other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister; Judy Cranford and brother; Roger Cranford. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:OO p.m. at Baker Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
