Ronald Clifford Knobel

Ronald Clifford Knobel, 87, of Kershaw died peacefully, Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at his home. Born in Union City, N.J., he was a son of the late Joachim and Helen Sager Knobel.
Mr. Knobel retired as a nuclear engineer for General Electric. He also served in the United States Navy for 10 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and traveling.

Surviving are his wife, Bonney Hartley Knobel of the home; 5 children, Marc Knobel and his wife Tracy, Kimberly Knobel Nevitt and her husband Bob, Shelley Ivester, Robyn Paro and Amy Ryckman and her husband Jeff; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and his former son-in-law, Manfred Gruell.
