Ronald Lee "Ronnie" Broome

Ronald Lee “Ronnie” Broome, 68, of Kershaw, S.C. passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. Born in Camden, S.C., he was the son of Mary Gilmer Broome and the late Bennie Broome.

Ronnie had been employed with Aiken County and Lancaster County as an animal control officer. He was a member of Frontline Biker Church. He was also Past Master of Abney Masonic Lodge #211, a Shriner and member of the York Rite and Scottish Rites. Ronnie was a graduate of Mt. Pisgah High School Class of 1974.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Vicky Williams Broome; his daughter, Heather M. Davis and her husband Tracy of Kershaw, S.C.; 4 grandchildren, Mackenzie Fulton, Troy Fulton, Mason Davis, and Skylar Brown; 2 great grandchildren, Charlie Rutledge and Tate Rutledge; 3 brothers, Ralph Broome and his wife Mary of Camden, S.C., Larry Broome and his wife Teresa of Kershaw, S.C. and Bryan Broome and his wife Tammy of Charleston, S.C.; his sister in law, Tammy Broome of Traverse, Michigan and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Broome.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. in Frontline Biker Church, 7728 Highway 341, Kershaw, S.C. 29067 with Preacher Cotton Pate officiating. The burial will follow in Kershaw City Cemetery, 190 Kirkland Ave., Kershaw, S.C. 29067 with masonic rites.
