Robert Wilson "Bobby" Griffin

Funeral services for Robert Wilson “Bobby” Griffin, 77, of Pageland, SC, will be conducted , Monday, February 12, at 11:00 o'clock a.m. in the sanctuary of High Point Baptist Church. Reverend Keith Coates will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Griffin passed away, Friday, February 9, at his home. Born in Pageland, he was a son of the late Ranford and Maybell E. Griffin. He retired from Springs Industries after 35 years of service and was a member of High Point Baptist Church.

Surviving are his loving wife of 61 years, Shirley Mae Deese Griffin; a daughter, Shelby Moree and her husband Zachary of Pageland; 2 sons, Stephen Griffin and his wife Melissa of Pageland and Michael Griffin and his wife Amanda of Jefferson; 5 grandchildren, Zachary Tyler Moree, Stephen Blake Griffin, Elijah Griffin, Alyissa Duvall, Michael Darius Yow; 2 step-grandchildren, Jacob and Heather Bryant; 4 great grandchildren; a brother, Ranford “Gene” Griffin and his wife Shirley of Pageland and special friends, Kemp and Kay Jordan.

The family will receive friends, Sunday evening, February 11, from 6:00 to 8:00 o’clock p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw and other times at the home.
