Robert Phillips

Graveside services for Robert Phillips, 66, will be held Wednesday, November 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Heath Springs, SC. Rev. Kelvin Hinson will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 4357 Kershaw-Camden Hwy., Heath Springs, SC 29058, Bethany Baptist Church, P.O. Mr. Phillips died evening Monday, November 8, at his home. Born in Wadesboro, NC, he was the son of the late Charles and Jewel Weaner Phillips. Mr. Phillips was a retired mail carrier and a US Air Force veteran. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 31 and loved basketball.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Couch Phillips of the home; 2 daughters; Robyn Lynne Phillips and her partner, Veronica Silva of Kershaw, and Lana Carol Phillips and her partner, Jordan Phillips of Canada; brothers; Don Phillips, Bert Phillips, and Arthur Phillips all of Wadesboro, NC, a sister, Marjorie Vincent (Carl) of Lancaster. He was predeceased by a brother; Cecil Phillips.
