Funeral services for Robert Benjamin Peach, 81, of Kershaw will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 28, 2011, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Burial will follow the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, Westville. Mr. Peach, widower of Clara Owens Peach died Sunday, September 25, in PalmettoHealth-Richland, Columbia. Born in Kershaw County, he was the son of the late George Benjamin and Cora Cornelia Owens Peach. He was a project manager for Southern Design & Construction Consultants, Inc. and attended Damascus United Methodist Church, Westville. Mr. Peach served in the US Marine Corps and US Navy and also enjoyed working the land. Surviving are 2 sons; Robert W. Peach of Phoenix, AZ., Tim Peach of Bluffton, S.C., 2 granddaughters; Cynthia and Shannon, 1 grandson; George, 3 sisters; Lucy Whitman of Fairfax, VA., Pat Greer of Cary, N.C., Peggy Parker of Kershaw, 2 brothers; David Peach of California, and Gerald Peach of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by 4 sisters; Annie Holden, Martha Knight, Bessie Faulkenberry and Rachel Wright, a brother; Joe Peach and a granddaughter; Nicole. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, September 27, from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. at Baker Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Damascus United Methodist Church, P.O.
