Robert Anthony "Tony" Deese

Robert Anthony “Tony” Deese, age 61, of Jefferson, S.C. passed away, Thursday afternoon, September 26, 2024. Tony was born in Monroe, N.C. He was the son of the late James Vernon Deese and Patricia Mungo Byrd. He was a member of New Haven Baptist Church, Jefferson, S.C. He loved to sing and participate in karaoke. He also enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his pops, Johnny Byrd; his son, Justin H. Deese; his sister, Janice D. Morris and her husband, Joey of Lancaster, S.C. and his brother, Bruce T. “Tommy” Deese and his wife, Melba of Camden, S.C. Tony was also preceded in death by a brother, James Edward “Butch” Deese.

The family will receive friends, Sunday afternoon, September 29, 2024, from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. prior to the service in New Haven Baptist Church, 9244 Taxahaw Road, Jefferson, S.C. The funeral service to remember and celebrate his life will be held at 3:00 P.M. immediately following the visitation in the church sanctuary. Pastor Herbie MacCue will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorial remembrances may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
