Richard T. Truesdale

The family will hold a memorial service for Richard T. Truesdale, 75 of Lancaster on Monday, February 15, at 3:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Midway Baptist Church, Kershaw.

Mr. Truesdale died Thursday, February 11, in Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte from injuries received in a automobile accident. He was the son of the late Raymond Truesdale and Martha Jane Poston.

Surviving are his son, Rev. Eric Scott (Jennifer) Truesdale and their sons, Tyler, Devon and Caden; 2 granddaughters, Dawn and Tiffany Altman; 3 great grandchildren; his siblings, Kate Burris, Curtis (Jan) Truesdale, Sandra (Theron) Williams, Judy (Jackie) Talbert, Anne Dryer and Darryl Truesdale. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Tucker, and siblings, Roland Truesdale and Sara Faile.

Mr. Truesdale was a member of Pleasant Dale Baptist Church and retired from Duracell. He loved his family and his grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 15, prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the Midway Baptist Church Fellowship Hall and other times at the home of his son, 4146 Payne Rd., Kershaw.
