Funeral services for Rena Faile Catoe, 79, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 1, 2011, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. The Revs. Gary Harris and Steve Miller will officiate.

Mrs. Catoe died Tuesday, June 28, at her home. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late George Washington and Dora Morgan Faile. She was a homemaker, a member of Center Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed working puzzle books , flowers and gardening.

Surviving are her husband; Kever Thomas Catoe of the home, 2 daughters; Judy Geiger and her companion Harry Boyd of Kershaw, Carol Payne of Kershaw, 2 sons; Ray Catoe and his wife Michele of Columbia, Patrick Catoe and his wife Brenda of Kershaw, 4 grandchildren; Chris Geiger, D.J. Payne, Miranda Catoe, Trent Catoe, 3 great grandchildren, 3 brothers; Davis Son Faile of Kershaw, Pete Faile of Kershaw, Thomas Faile of Mineral Wells, TX., 3 sisters; Ollie Newell of Lancaster, Mary Cauthen of Lancaster and Alice Catoe of Kershaw. She was predeceased by a granddaughter; Hope Payne, a sister; Myrtle Sims and a son-in-law Jackie Geiger.

The family will receive friends, Thursday, June 30, from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home and other times at the home, 557 Scout Cabin Rd., Kershaw.
