Funeral services for Rebecca Casey “Becky” Phillips, 70, of Kershaw will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday May 13, 2013, at Kershaw Second Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. The Rev. Don Knight and Mr. Dean Casey will officiate. Mrs. Phillips died Friday, May 10, at her home. Born in Laurens, SC, she was the daughter of the late Marion Lee and Opal Burke Casey. She retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. She enjoyed making crafts, sewing, jewerly making and word puzzles. Mrs. Phillips was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Surviving are her husband of 52 years; William L. Phillips, a daughter; Janet (Danny) Bowers, a son; Cliff (Tonya) Phillips, grandson; Brandon Lee Payne, granddaughter; Savannah Brooke Phillips all of Kershaw, great grandson; Jousha Lee Payne of Elgin, SC, 2 step-grandchildren; Travis and Amanda Lewis, 2 step-great grandchildren; Aubree and Addison and 2 brothers; Ronnie and Buddy Lee Casey of Lancaster. The family will receive friends, Monday, May 13, prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the church and other times at the home, 882 Baxley Pond Road, Kershaw.
