Phyllis Ann (Parsons) Love, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 19, 2022, after a prolonged battle with dementia. She was born on June 13, 1939, in Georgetown, S.C., the daughter of the late Victor Howell Parsons, Sr. and Mavis McConnell Parsons. Mrs. Love was a graduate of Winyah High School and had attended Winthrop College. She worked for over 40 years at the Marketing Materials Department of Springs Industries as a cost-accountant. Mrs. Love was a member and former secretary at Fork Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading and picking blueberries at the family farm.
Mrs. Love is survived by her husband of 52 years, Minor Lindsey Love; two sons, Bryan Lindsey Love (Bethany) of Blythewood, S.C. and Christopher Lynn Love of Monroe, NC; four grandchildren, Ella Lindsey, Peyton Elizabeth, Bryan Thomas, and Lilliann Paige Love; and a brother, Kenneth Parsons (Janet) of Williamsburg, VA.
Mrs. Love was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Victor Howell Parsons, Jr and Gary Stuart Parsons.
Graveside services for Mrs. Love will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 25, 2022, in Fork Hill Baptist Church cemetery. The Revs. Jimmy Adams and Dale Walters will officiate. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
