Funeral services for Phillip Julian Parker, Sr., 69, of Camden will be held at 11:00 A.M. SATURDAY, May 17, 2008, in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Camden. Rev. Keith Coates will officiate.

Mr. Parker died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at his home. Born in Anderson County, SC he was the son of James Parker and the late Mary Williams Parker. He was a truck driver for over 30 years. He served his country in the US Army and US Air Force.

Surviving are his wife, Lillie Mae Hollaway Parker of the home, his children; Phillip Parker, Jr. of Pinehurst, NC, Stacy Parker of Norfolk, VA, Marilyn Yates of Kannapolis, NC, Jill Sullivan of Bakersville, NC, Lloyd Randall Waggoner of Kannapolis, NC, David Waggoner of Camden, Jeffery Lynn Waggoner of Concord, NC. Mr. Parker is also survived by a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his brother; Jimmy Parker of Andrews, NC and his sister; Judy Lewis of Hilton Head Island, SC.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 16, 2008, from 5:00-7:00pm at Baker Funeral Home , Kershaw and other times at the residence 408 Truesdale Road, Camden.
