Funeral services for Peggy Robinson Plyler, 69, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, October 25, 2010, in Midway Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Revs. Todd Gandy and Larry Plyler will officiate.
Mrs. Plyler died Friday evening, October 22, in Highland-Cashiers Hospital, Highlands, N.C. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Ada Estridge Robinson. She retired from Bloomsburg Mills, Inc., Monroe, N.C. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School, was a member of the Adult Ladies No. One Sunday School Class and Young at Heart Group.
Surviving are her husband; Robert O. Plyler, 2 daughters; Lisa P. Williams (Stephen) of Kershaw, Gena P. Richardson (Michael) of Monroe, N.C. , 5 grandchildren; Kent Williams (Amanda), Brooke Gentiles, Kayla Faile, Cody Faile and Kenzie Faile, 2 sisters; Mary Sue Hunter of Lancaster, Edith Hinson of Kershaw and a brother; J.B. Robinson of Kershaw. She was preceded in death by a daughter; Julie Plyler.
The family will receive friends at the home, 7443 Old Jefferson Highway, Kershaw.
