Funeral services for Paul Thomas Roberts, 75, of Kershaw, will be held at 2:00 o’clock p.m., Monday, July 16, in the sanctuary of Potter’s House Independent Baptist Church. The Revs. Eddie Wheeler, Jackie Jenkins and Larry Humphries will officiate. Burial will follow in the DeKalb Baptist Church Cemetery, Camden.

The family will receive friends following the burial at Potter’s House Baptist Church.

Mr. Roberts died Saturday, July 14, at KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Cassatt, he was a son of the late Willie Frank Roberts and Nina Rebecca Ellis Roberts. He retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Potter’s House Independent Baptist Church. Mr. Roberts was dedicated to his church. He enjoyed working on lawn mowers and tending to his goats. Most importantly, he loved the time spent with his family.

Surviving are a daughter, Becky Faulkenberry and her husband Kenny; a son, Jeff Roberts; a son-in-law, Richard Whitaker; 5 grandchildren, Chris (Jill) Whitaker, Courtney (Derrick), Jamie (Kelcey), Jessica (Brandon) and Brandon (April) Faulkenberry; 7 great grandchildren, Camden, Gavin, Shelby, Deegan, Peyton, Logan and Bristol; 2 sisters, Evelyn McManus and Peggy Austin and his special friend, Jan Randall. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula Whitaker and siblings, Cletis Roberts, Willie Roberts, Gaylord Roberts, Cleo Dixon, Rosie Timmons, Eloise Robinson and Willie Mae Deas.

Memorial contributions may be made to Potter’s House Independent Baptist Church, 7393 Croxton Rd., Kershaw, SC 29067 or the charity of one’s choice.
