Paul Hazel Truesdale

Funeral service for Paul H. (Hazel) Truesdale, 93, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, July 26, in Bethany Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Craigan Blankenship will officiate.

Born in Westville, Mr. Truesdale died Saturday, July 25, in Kershaw Health Medical Center, Camden. He was the son of the late Shelly and Alice Moseley Truesdale. He was a brick mason and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Truesdale also worked with the Civil Conservation Corps in the late 1930's and early 1940's. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons; Joey (Sandra) Truesdale of Westville, Lowell (Paula) Truesdale of Kershaw, two daughters; Linda (Robert) Taylor of the DeKalb Community, Sandra (David) Williams of Hartsville, a brother; Bobby (Lib) Truesdale of Westville, eight grandchildren; Troy Jordan, Todd Jordan, Christy Truesdale, Jaime Truesdale, David Williams, Joye Williams Black, Caleb Truesdale, Heather Truesdale Payne, 11 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two wives; Evelyn Owens Truesdale and Elvira Hilton Truesdale, a sister; Vivian Jefferies Melton, four brothers; Ralph Truesdale, Henry Truesdale, Victor Truesdale and Lewis (L.T.) Truesdale.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, July 26, from 2 to 3 P.M. prior to the service in the Church Family Life Center.
