Patty Parker Boone

Patty Parker Boone, age 60, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Tuesday evening, August 15, 2023, at her home. Born in Camden, S.C., she was a daughter of Danny Carol Parker and the late Veronica Moseley Parker. Patty held her master’s degree and retired from teaching in the public school system. She was an elementary teacher at both Baron DeKalb Elementary School and North Central Elementary School before her retirement. She loved making crafts and traveling, especially going to the mountains and the beach. She cherished most the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her father and stepmother; Danny Carol Parker and Jennifer Parker; 4 daughters, Chanda (Tracy) King, Tina (Mary) Bowers, Kristen Bowers, and April Beth (Jeff) Mickler; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lorrie Parker, Ashley (Dusty) Price and her brother, Daniel (Jenny) Parker. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Boone.

A private family burial will be held. Debbie Anderson will officiate the service.
