Patricia Ann Rollins

Patricia Ann Hunter Rollins, age 80, of Columbia, S.C. and formerly of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Columbia VA Health Care System, Columbia, S.C. Born in Camden, S.C. she was a daughter of the late Edward Heyward “John” Hunter and Grace Broughton Hunter Phillips. Patricia was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing board games. She also loved to crochet. She cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren who affectionately called her “Nana.”

Patricia is survived by her loving husband, John Douglas “Doug” Rollins of the home; 2 daughters, Donna (Joseph) Zeek and Shani Moore and her son, Brent D. (Amy) Rollins; 4 grandchildren, twins, Hannah Moore and Tommy Moore IV, Noah Rollins, and John Leo “Jack” Rollins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Hunter.

A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday morning, December 23, 2023, from the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, 210 E. Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C. Rev. Dr. T. Jason Moss will officiate. The burial will immediately follow the service in the Kershaw City Cemetery.

The family will greet friends in the cemetery following the committal service.

Memorial remembrances in memory of Mrs. Rollins may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
