Memorial services for Pamela Pless Pam Pope, 50, will be held at 4:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Midway Baptist Church. The Revs. Todd Gandy, Tony Pope, Eric Truesdale and Mark Watford will officiate. Burial will be private.

Mrs. Pope, loving wife of Lamar Pope died Saturday, May 1, at her home. Born in Elberton, GA., she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Elda Anderson Pless. Pam enjoyed working at her church by serving as Acteens Leader and a Sunday School teacher and in many other capacities. She held an Associates Degree in Business from York Technical College and was a homemaker.

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home; three children; Jennifer Truesdale and her husband Eric of Lynchburg, Rev. Tony Pope and his wife Crystal of Lancaster and Brittany Dease and her husband Hunter of Kershaw, six grandchildren; Tyler Truesdale, Devon Truesdale, Caden Truesdale, Alexis Pope, Braylen Dease and Ashton Dease, two sisters; Edith Watford of Barnwell, Lisa Newton of N. Myrtle Beach and a brother; Pete Pless of Anderson.

The family will receive friends, Monday, May 3, from 6 to 8 P.M. at Baker Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Midway Baptist church, Building Fund, 7760 Old Jefferson Highway, Kershaw, S.C. 29067.
