Nola Dee Eubanks

Funeral services for Nola Dee Eubanks, 98, of Kershaw, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2012, in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Jefferson, S.C. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Terry Corder will officiate. Mrs. Eubanks, widow of Thomas Emsy Eubanks died Monday, May 28, in KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Jefferson, she was the daughter of the late Yancy T. and Viola Baker Byrd. She retired from Kendall Co., Bethune. She was the oldest active member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, where she was a choir member, member of the W.M.U. and the Young At Heart Group. Mrs. Eubanks was also a member of the Kershaw Senior Citizens Group. Surviving are her daughter, Peggy Sullivan and her husband, Isaac of Kershaw; daughter/sister, Betsy Knight of Kershaw; 4 grandchildren, Isaac “Ike” Sullivan, Jr. (Leigh), Roddy Knight (Sharon), Joel Knight (Ann), Monica Pardue (Jackie); 9 great grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and a brother, Charles Lindy Byrd of Columbia. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, May 29, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home, 1702 McBee Highway, Kershaw. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt.
